If Ladders were Octagons


Climbing would be much simpler

Seeing what it means to come full circle would have more meaning

Eight steps instead of a never ending challenge

The Jones would have to move

Of course remembering where you started would be much easier

Down side could end up going round and round

Greed though would become some ancient story of how inhumane we were

For we may find a point and stop and enjoy one self

Instead of waiting for the so called golden years to fall off the table

Envy would be a minor fear

Bits and pieces would be more than enough

Could this all be something?

Breaking the norm would be in the box

Outside the box only be enlightening

Being on a point may clear up the division

Talk about unity octagons are all connected
