MOON EMPTY EYES

MOON EMPTY EYES Hush now, the moon is wide Many look and wonder Souls of something missing Twinkle in the awe Thinking why so much and less is giving Elders words of you can do anything Except getting what give back Is there a riddle to this? Uttered lips of words that give directions Only to be empty hopes The full moon gives distance to how many feel A soul yearns for the connection In the mist of teased and shutdown Time lost, in the mechanism of man Age the number that is said to be only a number Unless years aren’t in the favor of the utterer.

CUPID’S BROTHER GRINPID

CUPID’S BROTHER GRINPID            “This is my time of the year!” Cupid zig zagging while cheering in the clouds. Stopping on a big fluffy cloud. He turns to his quiver to count the arrows. Cupid looks the arrows over as a shadow from above darkens his cloud.        “Ha ha, you’re pathetic older brother. The world is my domain now,” A dark cherub figure emerge from a fluffy cloud. Some thunder rumbled.       “Oh Grinpid, love is still alive. You are just envious of the love that blooms this time of the year,” Cupid cheerfully looks up at his brother the young sibling only by a blink of an eye.       “Really? How many of the arrows have you hit ones with and this year those ones are again single?” Grinpid landing on the same cloud with his bow and quiver and arrows. His looks close to a gargoyle. A LIVING CURSE

A LIVING CURSE Beat and rejected A humankind reject So many see the exterior and kindly smile Not inside just the wrapper An alive book, that would love to share If it wasn’t for kind cruelty Existence would be the hologram we really live Looked to the heavens the mirror All is heard is the silent laughter Words from a one that should have loved Uttered never wanted you In public kindly others give their politeness Never wanting anything really important Fell to the earth, grudgingly loved Alone is the walk In the hand of loneliness Deeply knowing what others miss A smile and a cheeky tongue Holds these pieces in place One day this may become the bad dream For now, this rough path, keeps the signs in plain sight A living curse

FEVERED DREAM

FEVERED DREAM See the secret siren A simple twinkle greeting A personal trap of holding the words That falls to the silly awkwardness Wishing for a time of being one to one Reality sets the pace in others flirts and seeing the smile So many times, at the solace of the dream One on one has happened, still not enough Sharing mutual views, craving to dig more Crazy a siren makes calmness by the pleasant talk A screamed mind to the heart Silent to many scars, for the rabbit hole is never smooth Still with simple touch and the soul melting smile Gives reason to be gentle And realize not a chance is seen through the eye of the dream Hold and hug deeply its all that is felt For a side is only a small part Especially when pieces are missing   Fevered dream
