A LIVING CURSE

    A LIVING CURSE

Beat and rejected
A humankind reject
So many see the exterior and kindly smile
Not inside just the wrapper
An alive book, that would love to share
If it wasn’t for kind cruelty
Existence would be the hologram we really live
Looked to the heavens the mirror
All is heard is the silent laughter
Words from a one that should have loved
Uttered never wanted you
In public kindly others give their politeness
Never wanting anything really important
Fell to the earth, grudgingly loved
Alone is the walk
In the hand of loneliness
Deeply knowing what others miss
A smile and a cheeky tongue
Holds these pieces in place
One day this may become the bad dream
For now, this rough path, keeps the signs in plain sight
A living curse
