A Nailing Heart

A nailing heart

Freedom in a lonely prison cell

A personal jury denying parole

Happiness seems untouchable, hapless shadows smiling

A reflection would only be true company for seconds of decades

The dream that was once in manipulation hell

Captured the pulse and crushed the life support

Only Dante knew this ring

Sharing meant surrendering all of the spirit

The bars on this cell are completely self made

Tears and disappointment was the plaintiff

The gavel made the judgment, even the innocent are guilty

Will there be a another crime love that will be the getaway

Will cupid ever give another trial for the passion?

Self society is waiting for the lessons learned

Staring at the liquid pictures of true contentment

Making the promise for the cell break with open arms

Could a twirl of hair a subtle smile make this another offense?

Clearly looking in between the window bars of wondrous eyes

Calmness only in the gentle gaze at the angel of mystique

Blood warmed by soft smiling eyes

A nailing heart
