Seems in these times read has become the dirty word

It’s not a mean word yet

In time though when you go read

The dirty looks will come

This will be such a loss

For reading is a great imagination gift

Read for many is still a pleasure

But still it’s only four letters

With this being against the grain

It may with any luck it will become an art form

For some do already call others bookworms with smirk

Now with some pride we need to read ourselves

Yeah it has been said

Don’t deny this you are already this far

Likely though it will be kept quiet
