Nothing lasts forever, what’s time then?


Is time something?

A well designed illusion?

Age is measured, look in the mirror

Timeless maybe a magic phrase

Time is in human standards is endless

This does mean in most terms forever

It must mean that ideas are timeless

For even mountains fall

Still think this must be the best illusion ever

So many words that contradict

Eternity is this the loophole in the rule?

Wonder if any being will find the answer

For imagination seems endless

There is an end though

Nothing lasts forever, what’s time then?
