Excitedly tired

Body and finger tips whisper

Only to be heard within one’s self voice

Mind could go either way

Imagination entertains ideas and dreams

Still the body and toes whisper

Excitement shelve it for another time

Pillows looking like a fantasy come true

Blankets like a heirloom to skins senses

Comfort the day’s last frontier

Eye lids wanting the curtain call

Ganging up on the mind

Work to be done in the dream plain

Excited for rest

Tired to be ecstatic

Measuring winks for dreams what could be

Cocooned for a bright tomorrow

History waiting to be named

Excitedly tired
