Anticipation stay in touch

Has age compromised this innocence?

Seeing rainbows made the mind tingle

Thunderstorms thrilled

Nature in my heart still gets me a smile

Knowing this senses still seem jaded

Like a child seeing his first falling star

Where did that wonderment go?

Rollercoaster ride adrenalin

Passed like the first sled on snow

Been there and done that

Should not be the end of enjoyment

First kiss feel opened many parts

Routine it seems now

Like the treasure hunt it is  

X will mark the spot
