Hours like chapters for thought

Reading through the lines of the past and future

From the all to the two eyelids asking this

With a cup of fuel that tastes just a little better than total emptiness

Converse with the inner voice

Thoughts that will be gone in minutes

Pointing to the end of thinking way too much

Hoping that others get off the fear train

Wondering why the listeners don’t listen like they use too

 In the morning will be moments from this to rev the day

New dreams of pain will challenge a future to unfold

A gamble that all us do

Looking for the chance of smile to smooth a waking mind

Thought will wait for the late night
