"THOMAS BASILLE AND MR PIB BEAGLE"
“Tom, come get my stuff and bring it to your mother. I am going to grab a
few boxes off the van to help out.” Tom’s dad says while taking his jacket off,
for a man in his early forties was in decent shape and liked getting his hands
dirty. Working with data sheets at work five days a week made him really enjoy
some physical labor once in awhile.
“Hey Mr. Basille found some dead weeds at the doors, and looks like some
salt like substance was all around the house also. If I was you I would call
the realtor and ask what is going on.” Al the older of the two moving man says
this as he points at the small pile of weeds he pushed off to the side of the
driveway.
“Probably just kids having some fun and yes that does look like salt
doesn’t it, and call me Pete. I am not that rich where you need to call me
something more than Pete. The realtor said she will stop over later. Thanks for
noticing.” Pete says this as he grabs a
box and starts for the house with a little grunt and looked at the box label to
see where to put it inside.
Back at the farmhouse they saw on the
way in. A lady comes out the side door of the house and starts to make her way
down the road to the new street where the Basille’s house is. The lady looked
that she was in her early fifties, fairly spry and slender carrying a picnic
basket. Mrs. Posie has lived here all her life with her husband Paul.
