A day that happened like a nightmare it changed us

Confusion and questions still little answers

Souls lost that day only to bring more souls lost

A spirited animal with a lust for anger

Peace a sweet after taste of vengeance

Few made many to be judged now as all foes

Somewhere words lost of turning the cheek and forgiving

Hatred was never written to be spouted

Like misguided weapons painted with words of the peaceful one

Brought most of us together only to attack others that their crime is less fortunate

Some support their own demise

On a dream that the enemy will take things from us far from our sight

Anger still on the streets stronger than other drugs

Listen for the silence of reason

Peace may come where we are all just tenants on the earth’s apartment

Peace comes after understanding a few did this teach the mass and the few become less

More lost souls doesn’t make more peace
